Engagement sessions are the perfect opportunity for a couple to explore and capture in photos their favorite things.  These photos become extremely meaningful when they reflect where the couple met, or their favorite activities together, or even the elements of a favorite memory.  My day with Sara and Ryan was no exception.  We began by exploring Volunteer Park and The Capitol Hill Neighborhood - both special spots in their relationship story.  These venues never disappoint and offer so many views that change by the season (and even the minute). We opted for a morning session just as the sun started to rise with the Cascade Mountains and the City of Seattle as a backdrop. Sara and Ryan started the session with a Starbucks and a stroll. Along the way to the park, we enjoyed great views of downtown and beyond. To complete their urban backdrop, we headed to the light rail station which features some awesome public art. Sara and Ryan were so easy to work with.  I cannot wait to photograph their wedding and continue capturing their love story!
