A Sunny Wedding on The MV Skansonia

Every couple wants their wedding day to be unique and special.  Kayla and John certainly accomplished both.  For starters, they lucked out with a beautiful sunny day in the Pacific Northwest!  The affection and bond these two, who met at Amazon,  share was obvious throughout my time working with them.  Planning their wedding photos was easy thanks to their shared vision and is one of my favorite parts of preparing to shoot a wedding.  Kayla and John opted to do "first look" photos as part of their plan which I always enjoy.  These pictures, in which the couple has uncompressed time to first see each other - prior to the ceremony, really allows them to savor the moment and their emotions while I have the opportunity to capture it all without any distractions.  These pictures are always so tender and, when incorporated into their wedding day story in a photo album really bring the magic back all over again!
