Now that you have a strategy about what you are going to wear for you session, it is time to determine the perfect location for your photos and what you want your session to say about you!!

Location! Location! Location!

It is always my goal to capture photos that truly represent your personality. When you book your session, one of the first things we will talk about is location. Thinking about and being able to articulate your style can help determine the perfect location. For example, if you love the outdoors, camping, hiking? a wooded park may be the perfect setting. If you are the star quarterback? photos at your school's football field would be the perfect location. There are many options to consider when choosing photo session locale, so if you are having trouble deciding, my sessions give you the flexibility to have up to two different spots, so that we can showcase you!

Bring Props

It is always fun to include special elements that reflect your high school career. These can be anything from a football, special dance costume, cello, your favorite books, your furry friend or your prized car. All of these things represent you and should be included in your senior session!

Time of Day

The time of day we choose for your session is also very important. It will have an effect on the style of session you are hoping to reflect. If you would like a more urban grunge look, we might choose the middle of the day when light is at its harshest. Perhaps you want a softer, more feminine look? The "golden hour" as it is often cited, is the time before sunset. It lends itself to a softer look.

Finally, on the day of your session, I suggest you are well-hydrated and well-rested. In addition to props, bring water and comfortable shoes for walking between locations. Make sure you get the directions to our meeting place on your phone, and leave yourself at least  a 30 minute buffer. You don’t want to arrive late and frazzled.

Your session is about you so let's work together and ensure it is everything you hope it will be!
